It will keep it moist and may even lubricate it and help it return...It was the advice I was given when my tegu prolapsed but luckily enough his returned quite shortly afterwards. _________________

Sugar water?.Not heard of that..wouldn't fancy grains of sugar on my bits.....have you left it alone in the tub for a while..coat some kitchen towel in the oil (not drenched) and leave it in there a while. _________________

As I said maybe better soaking the kitchen towel in the oil that way the tortoise won't get drenched..but will still keep exposed area lubricated but if no better get it to a vet as soon as you can. _________________

I have pmed you twice...
I am a little concerned with what you said in your last post, I am sure some of the money from your beardie hatchlings will go towards payment for the poor tortoises vet bill (if required?)...T.T. _________________

If you're still looking for a reptile vet near you try:
South Beech Veterinary Surgery
40 Southend Road
Wickford Essex
SS11 8DU
Tel: (01268) 560660 Fax: (01268) 562083
I beleive there is a reptile vet in romford as well but you would have to Google that one. _________________ best of luck in the new season |
