I've seen them in community setups before, but I've never kept them together myself. _________________

Aren't they the same thing? I kept anoles a while back and they were able to turn themselves green to brown. |

I think brown anoles are known to be slightly larger and more dominent than greens which could lead to stress in the green anoles and also minimize hunting / basking in the greens.
Why keep browns anyway? _________________ A lil bit of Madagascar

Brown anoles are gorgeoes! I would probably rather keep them over green anoles, the throat fan is superb, they're also predominantly from the carribean which is cooler

Green anoles - Anolis carolinensis, do change from green to brown yes, they're not the same species though. Brown anoles - Anolis sagrei. There are loads of anolis species though many of which are brown and green :], the commonly named 'Brown' and 'Green' are usually in the trade a lot more however.
This guy has a nice collection http://www.coldblood.nl/ - superb looking creatures _________________ Steve P |
