Theres a chap in my street who feeds his beardies baby food. Like the small jars you can buy in the supermarket. Specially things like the fruit desserts and that sort of thing as well as the usual greens and live foods.

He seems to think that this is perfectly ok to do. I'm not sure it is however. I know they can be high in sugars etc, so was wondering what you guys thought on the subject.

Do any of you feed this type of thing to your Beardies? Is it safe? Would it be in any way beneficial to the animal?

I want to be able to educate this guy but think I should find out what the general opinion is first!

I'd guess it depends which one he feeds to them. A vegetable based one is probably ok in moderation.

in that case I'd advise against it other than a treat for adults.

i was advised by a vet to feed one of my sick dragons babyfood, and it did get her eating again, i used the deserts papya and mango, but i wouldnt feed all the time, good as a treat but just dont think it is natural, god knows whats in those jars
