I am not sure if this is the right place, for the link, but it is the most appropriate, so i hope the following is OK.
I have been browsing, looking at articles on C.atrox venom, and anti-venin. (just a little research) i stumbled across this.
(this is a translated link, Now in English)
It has a large list of Venomous snakes (HERE), that are search-able (ctrl+f) and when selected, it displays info on the AV, and where it is kept/manufactured.
If you click on a specific anti-venin, it also has a bit of info on that. (example)
I think this is a valuable resource for any DWA keeper, who doesn't already know about the AV effective on their animals, or how much is available.
Notice also, the large amount of out of date AV stored. Is it still safe/effective, for use, or is it kept "just in case"?

Not sure to be honest.
I think there are supplies in liverpool, but i may be wrong.
I am sure somone will be able to answer that question, better than I.
It may not be an exaustive list of supplies avalale, but it has a good few snakes, and the AV's that can be used with their venom etc, so even if it isnt exaustive, it is still pretty good IMO.
Thanks

Not all AV holders have their details on that site
I've never seen it before though at it looks like it could be a very useful database, would be especially useful for prospective DWA license holders. I suppose it's success is mainly minimal due to the venomous species community being so tight-knit contacts like those should already be made! _________________ Regards James Stroud |
