Now being a somewhat cynical person I never like to get my hopes up then I cant get disappointed.
Question is does anyone think my Fiji is gravid? I have been keeping a close eye on her and although the male has made mating gestures I have not seen any mating take place. In my view the female is more dominant than the male in the pair and has spurned any advances made that I have witnessed.
Now I think she looks gravid but am not 100% sure so please any views? _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk

I thought it may be good to seek out another pair of Fiji's so after a few months of saving up and long discussions with the seller, indulged myself.
I have managed to get a pair of unrelated four month old Fiji's. One from the UK one from Abroad.
The male is superb and will be a great adult Alpha male, he is extremely bold and will challenge you when near the viv and hold his ground and will also readily hand feed. I have high hopes for him. The female is more timid, so in terms of future mating this bodes well. May even inspire my adult male to greater things if they get sight of each other. Or I could just show my adult male his reflection in a mirror. _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk

Yes just in case, one can live in hope. Why do think she is then? _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk
