I have my own free range Kestral that keeps me company when I clean out my mice. Every weekend now for the last 3 weeks he flies down to my mouse compost heap and flies off with a dead mouse.
I've started to put the odd dead one closer and closer to my mouse shed, just to see how tame he will become. At the moment he is happy to watch from a tree 50 metres away, then swoops down and takes the mouse when my back is turned! _________________
