Ok, i have this great idea in my head, well maybe it is not but i think it might just work Smile

If i got a shed, to keep all my livefood and etc in then all escpaces will die outside etc, mostly files Twisted Evil
And to bring the livefood in, will place them in a little container the amount i will feed, so all escapes in house will be kept to a min. No more moaning grand parents. Smile

So has anyone else got a shed, for livefood etc in if so could you share pictures thanks Smile

ps. did not know where to place this, in here or feeder. sorry.

would think heating would be necessary, especially for locusts and D.hydei fruitflys

Each container has a different size cricket or locust in.

The shed needs no heating as there is an excess of heat from all the vivs and racks, average temps are around the high 70's -low 80's ..... any higher and the air con kicks in.

The Locusts do fine without any heating and when I cultivated D hidei FF i found that the floor was the best place for them as it was/is the coolest place in the shed. The floor is normally around the high 60's to low 70's . If the temps were any higher they didnt breed as well and the cultures had up to 50% less than normal

Tubs on the right ? They are large contico's (23in x 16in x 6in) from my local reptile shop.

If I remember correctly there was some Teratoscincus scincus in the top 2 and some Goniosaurus luii in the bottom green (I was in the process of building a rack)

Finished Rack ....
