Hi everyone,
Sorry I haven't been back on to check out the thread, been at my brother's for a couple of days.
Warhammer is right. Paul Harris first brought the new guinea or more accurately the reduced pattern Irian Jaya into the UK from Belgiam (sp). I have spoken to Paul about the snake, he says it is very hard to ID a carpet from a photo, nigh impossible to ID a hybrid but goes on to say that reduced pattern certainly fits the look of this snake.
I really don't mind what it is, it could be a piece of rope for all I care. All I know is that it's an absolutely stunning animal, and a pleasure to have in my collection!
