Okay, basically i think i have quite a few crickets loose in my room. Sad

I found a hole in the keeper which im assuming got there when i dropped it on the floor on friday.. Embarassed Mad .. I dunno if the corner was shattered n the crickets have gradually made it into a full hole themselves or if they have been escaping since friday Shocked in which case, they will be in my mum n dads house, my car and now my student-house room! Shocked

Just wanna know if there's a way to entice them into one place to catch or kill them..?? coz i live with all girls + they aren't an insect-lovin bunch! Not to mention the fact that my land lady wont be too happy bout it.. and now its 6am n I haven't slept yet..... Evil or Very Mad

So.. ANY suggestions?! All will be gratefully received! Very Happy lol

Thanks!!

Hmmmm I can offer to come round and stay up all night and catch them, you living with all girls has nowt to do with it Embarassed

Nice to see you back on the forum Jo. Well you could purchase a bug catcher a mini sucker thing but you need to corner them first, else you could buy a bug trap. Alternatively buy a nice day gecko and let it lose it will soon eat any stray crickets. Or get some sticky fly paper and leave it on the floor with some lettuce on.

Yep sticky paper traps around the edges of each room is good, then as Rick says a piece of Apple/orange or lettuce etc to entice them onto it.

Im in a similar situation as far as student house goes-i had a weekend in which all my red worms would migrate down to my student landlords room...luckily he is a zoology student so all is cool. Is there anything you can keep in your room to mop up escapees? tarantula? (not that id be allowed-no snakes or spiders unfortunately)
