|
|
Have you heard of the RFC Reptile Breed Shows? You know, the one where snakes can be shown off to the world with an opportunity of winning prizes and trophies just like they do at Crufts? Well....... it's happpening again!! Last year saw the first of this show's kind happen in this country and this year will be our 2nd Annual Reptile Breed Show and it's going to be even bigger and better than before!
From today we are now beginning the registration process for snakes who will be entered into the competition.
Details about the show and what we do can be found here
The rules of entry into the show can be found here
...... AND YOUR ENTRY PROCESS BEGINS HERE
With our traditional breeders' shows experiencing more problems and an ever-tightening stranglehold on our hobby by AR groups, this is our hobby's chance to experience what other pet owners have and make the most of any opportunities and rights that we have. Supporting this show is more than just an opportunity to have a great day out, meet lots of like-minded people and win a trophy or six... (like Sue Nelson did last year), it's also an opportunity to ensure the future of our hobby in a new and growing direction. It's a statement to all who seek to destroy us that we will stand tall against all and anyone as a united front.
...... let's face it, there's a massive shiny trophy - the Martin Eustace Cup - to be had, hundreds of rosettes to be won and plenty of group trophies for the winners to display on their vivariums! I so look forward to seeing many of you there. We had 300 people through the door last year and over 120 snakes entered into the competition. Let's see how much we can improve on that in 2006 and future years to come. _________________ Regards, Tanya

Graham, thanks for putting that link up. I'm really and truly hoping that the site will be back this weekend ................ oh please let it be so.
Dave, that's the correct address. As soon as the site's back up there is a map that I drew especially for it all......... if it doesn't come back soon then I'll be creating a temporary site with the full details on. _________________ Regards, Tanya

Hope you can make it. The main categories are for snakes over 2 years old but snakes over a year old can be entered in the Best Pet Category. Don't forget, some people do win at Crufts.
