Hi all, does anyone have any info on garter snakes?

I know there is plenty of info to be found on the internet, but i was just wonderin if anyone had some hints and tips from experience.

The main thing i'd ike to know about is thiamin deficiency from frozen fish.
Oh and how much (size etc) and how often should a 1ft long garter snake be fed?

Im completely new to snakes and my girlfriend bought a garter today. Shes done research into them but im clueless.

Im now going to spend a few hours researching Very Happy
