By plane or by Car?
If by car you don't need any paperwork |

After being stopped TWICE, I can happily give you this advice, if you are buying CITES animals (monitors and boas / pythons) then it's best to have a copy of the CITES certificate or number, for anything else just ask for a reciept saying " Captive bred by XXXXXXX & date of purchase" that should do.
Technically you DON'T need any paperwork at all, it should be treated as travelling across two UK counties, however the law say's that if you are questioned about the legality of your animals it's up to YOU to prove they are legally aquired NOT for customs to prove they weren't (to put that into context, the POLICE have to PROVE you guilty of murder, you can sit & say nothing BUT customs (DEFRA) can sit and say nothing and you have to prove your animals are legal). _________________
