Awesome,I do like tricolours although I've only kept Ruthvens,I suppose with your experience of breeding them you have a 100% hatchrate Question

Actually No, the first clutch of 6 she laid, not in the lovely nest box but behind it on the heatmat, so when i went out they had all dessicated. The double clutch only one hatched. Second year out of those laid I got 3, and last year I had none hatch the incubator had problems at final stage of development and babies died I cut eggs carefully to try and help but they were dead already! So this year I hope to get it right!!

It's very frustrating when they ignore the egg box and dump the eggs somewhere completely unsuitable,believe me I know anyway do you have any other tricolours.

well I paid 3 odd years ago 200 for the pair and i got em very very cheap, I sold some 2 years ago at 100 quid each, this year they are about 50-60 pounds roughly they range from 90-150 a hatchling in the shops

incubation time ranges from 48-63 days, mine seem to hatch around 53-55 days at 82 degrees F
