I am looking to up the game a bit in the future and get myself a camera more suitable for large format prints.

Have all the usual magazines but am having a real struggle finding cameras with between 16 and 20 megapixels to get an idea of pricing.

Anyone have a recommendation?

medium format not available in digital however are they?

The Canon EOS 1Ds MK III is also rather expensive currently.

I heard there were some decent 16mp cameras out there for around the £1,500 mark.. real struggle finding them though

Probably because there isn't one...look through canon and nikons range there isn't any nor sigma or fuji. Well sigma do do a 14mp compact..
