Anyone got any tips on ensuring how to get them to hatch out?

There does seem to be a case for raising cultures on vegetable matter as opposed to the smelly meat method, has anyone out there got any practical experience please of either method?

Here´s a recipe:

80 grams of Wheat bran.
80 grams of Dry milk.
80 grams of Soy flour.
1 standard pack of Dry yeast.

Mix ingredients and mix in/dilute water, the substrate must not become too wet.
