Have posted this in the Viv section too but just in case people dont look on there.......

Ok not the most brill of threads BUT. I bought and exo terra from ebay for quite cheap for my crestie. However when it arrived the right hand pane, and part of the door on the right side has been totally smashed (DHL, gotta love 'em Rolling Eyes ).

any ideas about the cost of getting a replacement or any ideas that dont cost the world? I thought of mesh, wooden panel with another exo terra background stuck to it.....I really dont know tho. Well gutted, have just come back from a very tiring course only to find out the i cant move the baby into his new room Sad humf....

Any ideas would be excellent!

Cheers, Holly

I would try to get a piece of glass back in it. I don't think it would cost too much. You need 4mm toughened for safety reasons but I would do that Very Happy

I'd claim off the courier or the person that you got it from. If it had been packed properly it shouldn't have broken, and they should be able to claim from the courier, that's how it usually works. I've had a little experience of this, as I use couriers all the time both in coming and outgoing. You will need to contact them within 24 hours though to be able to claim. You'll have to go to the person that you bought it from and then they will have to submit a claim to the courier. You should then get a nice new one hopefully in tact this time Smile
