The frog sounds like an albino african clawed frog. Type it into google and tell me if it looks like the one your getting. _________________ x.Jessie.x

Aww they're so cute and obese.
They feed straight from you hands and seeing them try to move on land is hilarious!
Very worth keeping _________________ x.Jessie.x

hmmm MJ may need your advise on some wierd frogs I am adopting... owner doesnt even know what they are (white, totally aquatic, fairly large)... apparently easy to look after but she doesnt want to anymore for some reason |
Split this from the gecko thread since Jackie got excited lol but didn't think to split it _________________ Paul

I don't jest I love all frogs but these they are probably the biggest contributer to the world wide spread of chytridmycosis a disgusting fungal disease wiping out the worlds amphibian populations
For care I'm not sure but there's no doubt a care sheet for them on pollywogs website he keeps and breeds the horrid things
Sorry to be negative and "diss" a frog but I've strong anti ACF views _________________ Paul

ahhh fair enough, I had no idea that any animal could hold a large amount of responsibility for the desease spread.
is it down to the pet trade spreading it via these frogs or are they largely mobile across the world?
still worrying to see the reports about the spread of the desease when I am working at the zoo, hopefully they wont have to rely on the ark to keep amphibians from going under. |

Pet trade, scientific collection (used to be used as pregnancy tests back in the day and we had some at the NIMR for some reason) people letting them go umm transference on boots equipment a bunch of stuff
They're interesting animals for sure just not my cup of tea and the other stuff
At least they don't have the babies popping out their backs like the Suriname toads _________________ Paul

I cant say they are my favourite either to be honest, but I can give them a good home and rather that than they get flushed or end up dying in a filthy tank a year down the line because the owner no longer wanted them... |
