i have just become the proud owner of a little boy hog we have named him theodore he is adorable and loves all the attention he is getting.

they are awsome wee animals! I have a male and to girls,as soon as i get my set up arranged a little better i will add another unrelated piar.
Would love to have kept a couple of these babies but as they are obviously related to my adults.....

Mine are being kept in 3ft x 1ftx1ft rabbit hutches at the minute, but i plan on making a racking system type setup, with similar sized plastic bottomed cages.

My set ups are pretty basic, with a large hide, water bowl food bowl, news paper and shreaded paper as susbstrate/bedding.

They get they get tennis balls and toilet roll tubs to keep them ocupied. They seem to be doing great kept like this,i have at no upsets as of yet.

heres a link to a good caresheet

hi phil he drinks better from his bottle then he did from a bowl
i found with his long nose he was sniffing and sneezing and when i replaced it with the bottle he drank a lot that first evening which told me he wasn't getting much water before . and his tray is under his wheel so his poo does end up in the tray most off the time Smile but he does tend to poo when my daughter gets him out for a run round the front room Laughing .
couldn't get a good pic tonight will keep trying.and will get a pic of his home.
