Heres a few more, sorry i cant help myself! These are Prohierodula picta a female displaying.
Cant remember if i posted pics of these, Idolomantis diabolica again a female displaying, usually to a click of my fingers and funnily enough these mantids can stridulate in the form of a click!
A vid of I diabolica warming her flight muscles up in my greenhouse this summer gone. Just click on it, its not very good quality but it gives a good idea?
Heres a large nymph displaying:
Rhombodera fusca:
Poorer quality
These are Tarachodula pantherina, a small species but one of my favourites, they seem so full of characture, bold, colourful & spotty
These are all immature nymphs, i never got them to adulthood i released them into the greenhouse and they grew well and were thriving but i couldnt find them after a while and never saw them again until i stripped the green house down for winter. I found there lightly mascerated exoskeletons in the webs of Steatoda grossa? cave spiders, that were also in the green house (not any more they arnt)

Hi mate, they are hard to get, not the easiest to breed, but are in the uk in small numbers. Hopefully there will be more about soon as i absolutely adore this species
Thanks zarozinia I realize i've double posted some photos on the thread, doh.
Do it, problem is they are very more-ish, but luckily, usually very easy to keep well _________________ http://s124.photobucket.com/albums/p17/Bird-fly/
