Myself and a number of other wholesalers have recieved large shipments of CF baby egyptian uros this week.As can be imagined they are incredibly cute and a lot of shops have ordered them so you can expect to be seeing them in many of your local rep shops in the coming weeks.Because of this i just wanted to post the link for a good caresheet on them in case of any impulse buys (when you see them youll know why!)

Hello
http://www.deerfernfarms.com is my favourite site when I want uro info.

Unfortunatley the egyptian uros, which as you said are incredibly cute when young end up::::: from deer fern farms
An adult pair will need a minimum of a 5' to 6' long, 3' high cage to be comfortable. Also, please be aware, an angry adult could do serious injury to a careless handler. Remember this is a species that lived in the open plains with lions, etc. and thrived! A strong tail slap from a large adult will leave you bleeding from numerous small pricks while a bite could result in someone needing stitches. No other Uromastyx species can reasonable be considered dangerous, but an adult untamed or aggressive Egyptian is the exception!
If all wholesalers and shop sellers gave links and good advice like you have done it would be great.
Unfortunately there will be a lot of people sold 2/3 foot vivs who are going to be in for a shock when there cute, cuddly uro turns into a 2-3 foot monster.
thanks for giving link, hopefully it will make a few people think carefuly before purchasing such a incredibly demanding animal.

mike
