Dan - yeah that one works much better with the new text. I think that's my favourite up to now.
Deviance - excellent ones from you aswell. Although I have to say the one Scott has favoured I do not personally like that much. IMO it is hard to tell what the picture/silhouette is of.
As you can see I do have opinions on these sorts of things but I'm not going to be very good at making my own I don't think.  |

Thought i'd do a gecko version too ... think i like the Cham more though ...

It works; but it's not as though that sort of text elongation hasn't been used in logos before

It's a royal python curled up
I thought it was easy to see what the animal was from the shape and lines.  _________________

I did know what it was, but I didn't see it straight away. I would think a lot of the non-snakey people might have a bit of trouble seeing what it was is all I thought. Just my opinion as I said. |

That's great too.
There's nothing stopping us having a 3 or 4 background images, so long as the fonts and colours are the same, people can then choose what suits ie gecko, python, frog, spider etc?
