just a quick question, really just want to know if every-ones water dragons are as strange as mine, i have a trio and they all get along great, in the Viv they all sleep on each other and there is rarely any head bobbing or arm waving, the thing is there will be no mating or mating behavior in the Viv but as soon as they get out onto the living room floor they go nuts and are bonking left right and centre! why is this?

They certainly look fertile at the moment - bright white and glowing pink.

Mine do the same, as do the beardies.

I've always put it down to a territory issue. In the viv, they know their woman is there and belongs to them.

As soon as they get outside the vifv, there are other males present and more space for the female to leave, so the males become more dominant.

My guys always lose their cool as soon as the female is out of sight!

I never witnessed mine 'in action', when I used to breed them. And the only head bobbing was done at me.lol.
