Right, it's not definite, but I just want to get an idea of what to research into...
After selling baby geckos that I have bred I am hoping to get another lizard, possibly a pair. Like I said, it's not definite, but I'm constantly trying to prove to my parents that I will give the time to look after them, and I do prove this. They have said in the past that should we sell some babies, then I could maybe buy another lizards or 2.
Basically, I have got a 32x14x14 (Inches) former aquarium that I would be able to put something in should I be allowed. It has UV already fitted and another normal light, both covering the whole tank from the top...
Due to the dimensions of the tank I would prefer something ground dwelling and that can be kept in a pair without problems. Also, something that is not nocturnal (Though this isn't vital for me) and something that preferable can be handled, though again, this isn't vital, just as long as it can be held to be removed from the tank for cleaning, I would also like to be able to hold it as well though.
The obvious choice that I'm guessing people will say would be Leapord Geckos, but after having looked into them a little bit I think I would prefer something else.
So has anyone got any ideas so that I can look into it and be ready should I be allowed?
Thanks,

maybe a corn snake, they can be handled and are nocturnol and have a great temperment, or if you dont like snakes you could house atokay gecko in a 20 gal tank, i think that 32 inches is 20 gal :/ or a pair or trio of golden skinks can be kept in your tank =)
hope this helps _________________ bearded dragon/ 0.1.0

I would love to get a snake, but my Grandma hates them and if I got any she would refuse to come to the house...Tokay Geckos I used to really want 'cause I liked the look of them (This was before I even thought about keeping lizards) but I soon found out that they aren't the best for handling... Though I might still look into these...
Golden Skinks...I've never seen anything about them, I'll have a look now. Thanks for the reccomendations.

How about some sandfish (Scincus Scincus) they are unusual, easy to care for, highly entertaining, not expensive and not many people are keeping them. _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk

They are also something I thought about as they have been in my local reptile shop for a while now, though I don't know if they still have them. I will look up some caresheets on them as well. Mind you, whenever I've been in the reptile shop they always seem to be buried...Do they come out much? And if so, what time of the day?
Thanks,
