Hello, I am quite new to the reptile world as far as keeping them for pets is concerned, but I have been doing ALOT of research on all different types of lizards. I originally built a 4x2x2 foot vivarium and am ready to start the decor and decide on what lizard im going to get.
What type of lizard do you guys think would be suitable for a viv of this size? I originally wanted to get 3 leopard geckos but after a trip to the local pet store I fell in love with chameleons and a baby bearded dragon! But was told my viv would be too small
I would prefer an animal that isnt nocturnal (Im a light sleeper!) and also one that has a lively personality to match mine! So it would be appreciated if you have any suggestions for me...
Thanks alot, Manny |

You will be able to keep a pair or trio of bearded dragons in that sized viv with no problems at all. _________________ People laugh at me because I am different

Beardies or a rankins dragons (pretty much a smaller beardie) will do great in that. |

a pair of beardies would be kool for there...or blue a blue tongue skink, though from my experience they hide alot of the time...uromastx?(sp?)...umm about thing around the 20 inch mark i guess....you could keep a cham in it also i would say aslong as it has enough room to climb and such |

I really want to get the chameleons but I would feel bad for them only having 2 feet to climb up so think I will wait till I'm more experienced and have a bigger Viv for them.
The beardies and rankins seem suitable for my Viv but I'm going to stick with 3 leopard geckos (for now ) and see how they get along and also gain some experience on the way!
Does anybody on here breed and sell Leo's or do you guys know any good sites to buy from?

Why not look into a blue tongue skink? They are fairly lively from what i've seen. _________________

They look a bit snake-like for my taste!
(no offense to the snakeys ) |
