You could be the one of the lucky one's, you have obviously never heard of E.Coli.
It has killed many via burgers, including 21 people in Scotland in 1996.
Damned lethal some burgers. _________________ 31August2008-Kent Reptile Show (Amphibians & Inverts welcome) for more information & Booking e:mail: mrac@sky.com |

Hilarious!!
Well I personally think that live feeding is down to the individual, but as a whole, the community shouldnt be advertising it as 'what we do'.

Fair enough.
However I think the mods should delete this whole thread in the interests of the hobby.

Seems a bit extreme Gary? Why do you feel it should be deleted? _________________

Because it has got out of hand, like most threads these days.
Am I not right in saying that its generally accepted that we do NOT feed live in the UK unless its ABSOLUTELY necessary?
Forgive me if I am wrong?
With all the bad press that this hobby gets, I dont think that we should make it obvious to 'outsiders' that livefeeding is accepted by the community as I really dont think it isnt (and thats not just MY opinion, but I THOUGHT, the general opinion of the community?)
Am I wrong to think in this way? I mean i HAVE livefed, purely to keep a non feeding royal alive. However as SOON as I can get it on defrost, its on.

Hi gary thats your opinion but not everyone elses, hence why this is open forum for discussions..Lets be honest I'm pretty sure "outsiders" are fully aware that some feed live it would be naive to think otherwise. In my opinion the thread has not got out of hand at all and will remain open for "sensible" discussion to continue. _________________

bad press is hiding away what actaully does go on and thats this
hey man oysters are cooked alive
crabs are too
in china snakes are skinnned alive and eaten
rats get eaten by snakes in the wild i would probably eat apples off a treee
but i would not catch a oyster and boil it up alive!!!!!
get my point dude _________________
