Gary that did seem a bit feisty as he was asking if you could, as people are learning what to do and what not do do. sorry if that was a bit of a letra but it just seemed a bit over the top. Aidan _________________

Basically, there are many reasons why it is a last resort, the most important one being the horrific damage that can be dome to a snake (or even monitor) by a live rodent _________________

Is that things like the rodent biting the snake and causing damage etc.?

Basically yes...
We had a customer in the shop boasting that he was going to give his royal python a live rat for fun.
Next time he was in we found out that it had incurred a £300 vet bill and the loss of an eye... |

Im going to have to agree with Eggman on this one gary, that was a little harsh especially to someone asking a question. Try reading through what you've written to see if it could offend anyone before posting it up next time. |

Points taken, but i disagree with some of you here. Livefeeding is a last resort always.
My Royals all feed perfect on defrost so there is no excuse.

Yeah mate, I don't agree with live feeding but I don't slate people that do it. It is their choice after all. We all do things differently. |
