i have a red foot that never seems to open his eyes?? and doesnt really eat?? can any one help?

Hi hun, are his eyes crusty at all? and whats his breathing like, a pic would be good, i dont know a lot about redfoots just basic care really, maybe a trip to the vets is the best option Smile

i have been to them, and the vets gave me like a gel thing but has helpd!! pics will be at the weekend!! it has a uv, i spray it like three times a day it has two water bowls, on bark and peat!! tried newspaper!!

got home from the show!! bit hot in the shed but nothink out of the norm!! i have been giving my red foot sum batrum from vest for the past 4-5 days and has put on over 20g in the past week. sprayed it and it was fine just went out to which lights off and found it dead!!! gutted!! i really love these torts one of my favs and now both of them have dead in a matter of weeks!!! never again am i goin to keep them!! Crying or Very sad

can i ask where you got them from as there may have been an under lying problem when you purchased them

if you dont want to give out the name just pm me

sorry for your loss but with maybe better understanding of this species i hope you will consider keeping them again someday

i breed one of them, at my work place and another came from a mate.
