no I dont hibernate my kings! she eats every week a medium mouse, then around october she stops eating mediums and prefers smaller food items and she has 3 small mice instead! some people cant get their knoblochi's on anything greater than a fluff so she is quite a big king! my male eats rat pups and he has one a week he is around 280g!
i separate the male from the female when she hits 325g which is when she starts being a bit fussy and i reintroduce him when she his 340g about a month to 6 weeks. Her weight over the year fluctuates from about 310g to 350 dependant upon season!

Don't Hibernate - Is that because you don't breed them or because you have found that you can breed them without hibernation? _________________

That's what I was wondering, some people swear that mountian kings only breed if hibernated, nice to know someone else has done it 'not by the book'. _________________
