I have a few of these snails, have had for some time now, they regularly lay eggs, to clarify these are not the small eggs they are 1.5cm approx, i have tried to hatch them many times with no success, anyone have a reason why these are hard to hatch unlike the other snails?
They are kept moist and at room temp of 80f but nothing ever happens
Sad Sad Sad

oh well i shall respond Rolling Eyes
Lol
sorry not been about for a while!
Ok you say your not having luck hatching them i am guessing your removing them?
If so thats your problem!
The snails will lay eggs in the conditions that suit them! So best thing to do it make sure they are covered and leave them be.
Could also be the fact they are infertile?
Well worth candling them see what you can see if nothing then maybe even open one see whats in there!
They lay even if they havent mated so could just be that.

Thanks for your reply, had given up.
with the exception of one i am not removing them.
Candling the one i removed showed it was fertile, but nothing happens with the other eggs, have not checked them though, just left them alone.
