300+ people went to a show yesterday where there was nothing for sale...

Seriously though Tanya, I'm sure if all the best aspects of the different types of shows could be rolled into one venue, then your right...Europeans would be travelling here!

Agreed I was talking to Tanya about this yesterday and asked that to her and she said that was an idea of hers as well, at least either 2 are on the right lines or we are both mad!!! LOL

While the judging etc is going on something like a breeders event or an open show to occupy people would be a great diversion, because perhaps if Sue breeds well from her best of show etc she can sell her babies as the progent of the world first corn snake show winner! plus she has 4 other best in category winners......still say its a fix LOL only joking......!!!

I could not believe it as the results came through Very Happy A lot of people walked out the door with rosettes though which was good to see.

Congrats on the show Tanya sounds like it was a great success and fuill credit to yourself and everyone else that planned and/or helped with the event Wink

Has there been any press photos in any of the newspapers today as I heard someone mention there were/was a photographer there?

Yep, the photographer was there from our local press. The paper comes out twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays and I don't know which one we'll be in but I'll scan the article in for everyone to see.

there was a lady from the local papers, she took a great photo of my Gargoyle (sorry if that makes the front page Tanya Embarassed Laughing )

When some articles become published it would be fantastic if it made any national, although unlikely, but definately wouldn't be bad if expressed in the right way. Sending a couple of copies off to the big papers might be a good idea Confused Cool
