Tunnel @ £140 return
Petrol @ £50 per tank, 6 refills = £300 (about 900 miles return)
Speeding ticket in Belgium £125
so approx £665 when I drive Not bad when you share that between 4 but with only two seats my trips are twice the price of everyone elses
(also that's not including depreciation & wear & tear on your car...I think the AA put mine down for £1.45 a mile including petrol etc...so that's another £640! )
So....add all that up and then decided if buying from Hamm is cheaper
If you do decide to fly, I am taking a van over so I can bring anything back to the UK for a small donation (approx £50) _________________

We go to the Hamm show 3 times a year, and as Scott says it is an expensive trip.
Normally if you go by yourself you would be looking in the region of £500, or if sharing approx £250 - £300.
But it's a hell of a trip, and good to get to see lots of differnt species. But March is not really the buyers show, more of a sellers show. As most things are out of breeding season.
The best one to attend from your point of view would be the September show when every one has hatchlings/babies and lots of competition means saving you £££££

Stu,
I think i have found the perfect car for when he gets over the "mid life" crisis of driving what he does now.

I'll get him a deal if he is interested.
