Just back from holiday in Goa and thought I'd post a couple of images.
Met up with a friend who is a local snake catcher and took a few of a nice Russels Viper.
For those who havent worked with this species they are.....well irritable!!!
Above Rahul playing with a big male russells
Below Tailing a very large male
Below Head shot..wife very scared at this stage..women!!!

cobra, rat snake, saw scale viper and sand boa, oh yes very close to russian girls.......woowee!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That Daboia is absolutely massive, having worked with a few in collections it puts into perspective the difference between wild animals and CB the colors are so so different to CB animals from WC India parents.
Glad you enjoyed your trip.

I think it was a Russels that nearly did in O'shea,that snake is huge . |
