After another agonising wait of nearly 200 Days
The first thing to hatch here at B.J Herp Supplies in 2007 are two Fiji Banded Iguanas.
This takes our total up to 10 hatched since 2006,
Thought I would share the good news, only one more to go from this clutch. Another clutch due next month.
As it happens the first two are Females, Great as i have a single spare male.

This is the 5th clutch with the 6th in the incubator, clutch 7 due to be laid in a few days/weeks.
We have had some losses through incubation issues.

Well you are certainly getting results now though.
What do you think were the problems incubation wise? _________________ YSBRYDOLI POBL, GWELLA LLEOEDD

Plain and simple, stupidity on my behalf, incubation 200 days, incubation medium dries out.
Simple mistake, time is never on my side, and the Caiman we hatched in December have had me pre-occupied.
I won't be doing it again,

Easy mistake to make. That is a long while to retain humidity for sure.
Only way we learn though as you know! _________________ YSBRYDOLI POBL, GWELLA LLEOEDD
