Links are welcome in the profile. As much as I hate rules, rules are rules and this one was put in place to prevent people posting links to their forums everywhere and precious little else (not what Tim was doing).
We suffered a lot of the aforesaid, before you were a member here , and since the 50 post rule was put in place it has got a lot better.
Once a member becomes a contributing member ie 50 posts, they are welcome to post a link to their site.
