I have heard of females reaching 7foot and bigger. Though not sure how reliable the source is.......
For some perspective:
My 9 year old female is about 6 foot, give or take an inch or two.
My 5 year old male is around 5.5 feet,
My 3-4 year old female is 5 foot
They fully mature around the 7 year mark _________________ 2.2 BRBs, 0.1 Royal, 1.0 Amazon Tree Boas, 1.0 Kenyan Sand Boas, 0.1 Borneo Blood Python, 1.0 Iggy, 1.0 BD, 0.1 Chile rose, 0.0.1 Curly hair. |

That is to completely mature, I have heard that this is when the head 'catches up with the body' as it sort of gets a bit left behind.
They are sexually active from around 2.5 years upwards, but personally I wouldn't breed until at least 3.5 years and at least 5 feet.

they ARE slow growing, and it is DEFINITELY NOT a good idea to try to power-feed to increase the growth,a degree of patience is required, but amply rewarded by having one of the most beautiful snakes on the planet. _________________ we all have the spark of divinity within us, but are we responsible enough to use it? |

Hear, hear! They tend to go through growth spurts as well, where they seem to grow really fast in the space of about a month, then they don't put on much size for a while. |
