I'll have to stop visiting this forum, I can't help myself wanting more herps!
So, Rankins have caught my eye, they look brilliant
I have a spare 45x45x45cm exo terra, would this be big enough for a pair?
Also, can anyone point me in the direction of a good, precise care sheet. I have googled but I'm not sure how accurate they are. I understand the care required is similar to bearded dragons, but mweh

Easily Cleef - I'm getting a 35x18x15 which is easily big enough for 3-4 - a Rankins dragon averagly growns to 10-12 inches so are smaller than beardies - a lot of people say they are exactly the same but some of their care is different so do have a look |

Freerein I think you are talking inches while clef is talking cms
a exo terra may be ok for hatchlings for a few months but for adults ideally you would be looking at a minimum of 36"x 18" inches |

I'm thinking about building a viv for some rankins now, given the space I have, I could easily fit in a viv roughly 30"x18"x18"...
Would this be big enough for a pair or Rankins, or even 1.3?
I've got the bug bad My room will be well established reptile room soon _________________ Steve P |

Anyone?
What size do you keep rankins in? Jas' caresheet states 36x18x18, would 6 inches really make a lot of difference? _________________ Steve P |

The bigger the viv within reason the better really, i wouldnt put more than a pair in a 30" viv, mine are all kept in 48" vivs i find it easier to provide a good temperature gradiant in a wider viv, and dont forget you need to have room in there for a decent sized water bowl and if you plan to breed them a good sized laying box too. _________________ www.Reptilebreeder.co.uk
