Can you give me some information on the fiji iguana's like how big do they get, what do they eat, breeding age, are they difficult to breed/keep, average lifespan and what do they go for in the U.K pricewise ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
And also when does the breeding season start there by you guys? |

hi,
just a quick post tonight, I'll give some more info after the weekend.
Prices, greens go for 1500 euros each, blues go for 2750 euros each.
Max size is 80cm. Easy to keep & apparently easy to breed (mine haven't yet though).
regards

They are expensive as they are totally protected in their natural habitat, making them CITES appendix I animals. Add to this their low reproductive cycle (1 clutch of up to 6 eggs) and their popularity (friendly nature, beautiful colours, small size, easy feeding schedule). This will keep the prices quite high for a few years. |
