I hatched my first wood turtle exactly a week ago
Didn't post before becuase I wanted to make sure that it was feeding - its taken a good few days, but finally found something that it devours - a nice juicy earthworm!
Its about the size of an old 50p piece and really cute, I will try and post a pic soon.

Cheers Peter, I'm well chuffed. I only got one egg, and have incubated this for well over 100 days, so am really pleased to get this fella out!

Well done Mark, funny enough I was at a friends yesterday and he was showing me his baby wood turtles he's hatched too...stunning little things. _________________

I've had a go at photographing my turtles. Rhinoclemmys pulcherimma manni, Painted wood turtles.
Pretty poor pics but here goes....
First the hatchling, then an adult.
Are this the ones your friend has Scott?
