Went to the snake day in Houten, Holland on Sunday and have been waiting for someone elses review on the show... BUT looks like no one else went lol, was anyone else there?

Now I dont keep any snakes yet, as I do still live at home and have a mother who is absolutely terrified of snakes, so I didnt dare bring back any snakes lol. All I managed to buy were some bits of cork bark, feeder roaches, a plant and a leopard gecko lol... Veyr unusual animal to pick up at a snake day I know, but my mate knew someone there who was dropping some leos off to him, and I couldnt resist them. Not really a purchase at the show, but something I came home with never the less.

The show did revitalise a growing need to keep snakes, and can't wait to leave home early next year to start my snake collection... As I dont keep any yet I cant really say much more about the show, but i've got some photos of a few very nice animals to show off... These will say a lot more than any account I could write anyway, hope you enjoy.

Thanks for sharing the pics..they are some nice looking snakes!
I know a few from the forum that went and thouroughly enjoyed it,great selection of snakes and plenty of room to move around and see the displays without pushing and shoving.

To be honest mate i can't remember the price for the angolan, its a snake i am slightly interested in but as I can't buy snakes yet anyway i didnt take THAT much notice of prices on a lot.... only picked up prices for things I definately want to keep in the future lol.

And yeah there is certainly more room than at Hamm for example lol.... its is set out VERY well.

Yup, i was there. Got a few bits here and there, picked up some ordered bits and ordered some more Rolling Eyes
Not a bad day really, especially later on. A good friend of mine bought some corns that should have been 200 euros for 5 euros each (don't ask what as i haven't a clue).
