I have joined Scott and become the proud owner of a pair of Egyptian Fruit Bats. They were a tad nervous on their arrival but after a fly around they settled on the roost that I had prepared for them in just the spot I wanted them too, above the poop tray! Very Happy

I didn`t expect them to eat too much on their first night but was pleased to find this morning evidence of some banana, papaya, mango and strawberries missing.

Anyway, a good few hours after their arrival they seemed relaxed enough for me to take a few snaps.

Was a bit of a one off purchase/turn of events. Not sure what the standard price for a fruit bat is to be honest. Confused They do need a fair bit of space though. Wink

Thanks both. They are free flying at times but have quite a large area the rest of the time. I can stand up in there and they can do an aerial sprint there.

The male is a lot less timid than the female and I hope to perhaps tame him at least a little. Smile
