dear Visitor / member

I just wanted to point out that although this forum is under the CaptiveBred 'banner', there will be NO restrictions with regards to posts on this forum connected to other breeders / traders, in other words if you are a breeder of similar reptiles, you are free to post subjects up or mention when asked, that you have some for sale etc.

This is a give and take agreement & I expect you to also help other forum members and post general help, info & observations for everyones benefit.

Hope this clarifies my position & we look forward to you posting & helping this forum grow.

regards
Scott

If a breeder or shop gets the odd extra sale by mentioning items on this site, then I think that's a fair exchange for them spending their time posting info and help on these forums.

I do agree, it is a shame certain other forums crack down so hard on such things.

agreed we all have the same goal in mind and that is to help others when required, be pleased for people when a new addition arrives, ad console when tragedy strikes! I am a mod on quite a few forums and I am soo glad that this site has such an open arm policy. It an only help to cement the reputation this site is slowly building!

Well done all u lot!

Peter

Just wanted to point out that this 'openness' is like I said....a TWO WAY street. There have been a few members joined recently that have yet to post much other than links to their sites.

I am happy for ALL members to use this forum to promote what they do, breed, offer etc BUT I WILL delete members posts if they fail to contribute to the forum as a whole.

I think you will all agree that this is perfectly fair and the right thing to do.
