Hi all.....I've been given a Carolina King, chocolate and White. Beautiful snake..A year old but she rattles her tail and urinates when trying to hold her and get her out the viv.....I haven't succeeded yet cos i leave her to calm down after i try to handle her.....She's so quick too so any advice i would appreciate..Thanks guys and galls |

That's very common, all I can say is persist with her and have a towel on your lap!!
Hold her for a few minutes each day, except for 2 days after feeding. Hopefully soon she will realise that you are not a threat. |

She will more than likely get there, patience is the key. At only a year old she still has a fair amount of growing to do and some stay quite flighty and "musky" well past 18 months.
