I built some racking for the large contico tubs a few weeks back, I did mean to take step by step photos but forgot Embarassed , anyway here's the finished rack.

Looking good. Cool Nice and tight fitting so that lids aren`t required by the looks of things. Am I right Scott? What are they made of Scott? Standard B & Q formica?

Looks like melamine to me, nice neat job! Jewsons loads cheaper than bq. Or any builders merchants BQ are a rip of for that sort of gear.

nope, no lids, racking and lis just don't go together in my mind Cool

Yep, just standard B&Q laminated chipboard.

lol...are you sure??? B&Q have a bad habit of charging for small pieces when you actually have big pieces Wink

Nope, no vent holes at all. I drilled holes in one and looked at it, decided there was plenty of ventilation around the top where the gap is (would be the equivilant to 1000's of holes in a lidded box.

So far even if I pour water in the bottom they don't mist up for very long at all.


I have also sealed every joint around the top with silicone to prevent condensation ruining the wood.
