What conditions are you keeping them in.

thanks for the comments,

taben i will have set up shots on line very soon when i get my pics on a disk lol, i wanted to kit them out nicely so i went to town a little LOL

they do require very high humidity as they come from monsoon areas, their skin is so thin if there isnt enought humity they have great differculty with shedding, they are being kept at a tempreture of 31c max with lighting on and withought they get a nice night drop to 27-28c

they are really enjoying the vivarium by the looks of it much better specimens than my last pair i had, female is immaculate its so nice to have anouther diernol species sommit to look at during the day lmao instead of seemingly empty tanks LOL

i will update you all with my progres on this specis, it isnt a new specis for me but ive only had a bad experience before so im positive these ones should do well, here's hoping lol

nah they should do well

k

Fantastic snakes Karl.

Are they w/c,c/b,c/h??

Keep us updated with these. One of the species on my "Must keep these again" list.

Cheers

Mark

What are they eating Karl.

The female I had would only take (live . . . .shhhh) Hopper mice!!!!
I tried dead lizards and scented pinks etc but visual was the main trigger.

Extremely visual predators and extremely accurate!

I edited an article for the European Snake Society about A .mycterizans, which suggested they feed naturally on fish, given their highly visual "prey" acquisition and that they live in mangrove forests.....tropical fish were taken readily.

Cheers
