I have a few FBT's and they are a very dark green except from maybe once a week when the majority of them get lighter, although the next day they're dark again.

Is it because they dont feel safe or because the moss/plants are quite dark.

How are you lighting their tank? Also, they do them to camouflage themselves into their surroundings, so try some greenery in the tank. Also what are you feeding them on?

Yea thats what i thought but we do have alot of light plants, the moss is quite dark though.

We use a 5.0 UV light and feed them crickets.
