Please could you all sign the petition by following this link. If we can collect enough signitures, maybe we can stop this.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

im makeing a cheap guess 2 say it probably wont happen i know for a fact a lot of people have reptiles and from my view is that reptiles are harmless if not venomous even then there not too bad. the only way i think a non venours snake or lizard could be lethel is if a snake or lizard crawlled out from a toilet some1 was sitting on after being flushed and kill the person on it a heart attack from shock... same thing heppened when my crickets got out man im scared of my loo now as i found a massive 1 in there the toher day Laughing Shocked Neutral

Our country tends to follow what happens in the USA, several states have banned reptiles, many have banned certain species and even more have banned reptiles from being kept as pets in the cities (strange, as they are more suited as pets there than almost any other common pet).

Not sure if an online petition will help much directly but it will raise awareness to the threats reptile keeping is under.

Well done for starting it Mel, good luck getting lots of names & creating awareness.

I will post the links with this message. It is the rspca and other welfare groups, they say that reptiles in captivity have miserable lives, and that there lives are shortened in captivity.
I suggest that you do your research before you start calling me and others sados - if you type in reptile welfare to any search engine you will find out what is happening.

Please don't be rude and abusive to me and other people, there is no need for it. If you don't want to sign it then you don't have to, just stay nice. I have no tolerence for rude and insolent people, its people like you who ruin these places for other nice people. Thanks to the words of encorougement, at the end of the day, rome wasnt built in a day, its little things like this that get bigger things started. Very Happy
