Hi I posted a few days ago with regards to the two milks I rescued, when I got them they were together so i seperated them and this morning I got a nice surpise- the female has started laying eggs! Only three out at the moment but I dont expect a lot as she is fairly small (although she is deffinalty an adult!). As you would expect I am completly unprepared and have been running around like a maniac getting an incubator sorted which is now getting up to temp, I have followed all the advice from the bocks I collected to the letter but was just wondering if any of you more experienced amongst us could offer any tips? Hopefully the eggs are good and in a month or two i will have a few baby snakes!! thanks for any help in advance, Blair. |

That's lucky, well done.
As for the eggs, keep them the same way up as they were laid, Keep the temps stable (28c is fine). Watch out they don't dry out or become too wet (if using vermiculite it should clump together in your hand but 'crumble' when you drop it back down).
Good luck. _________________

u can try again straight away, if u think she will take a medium mouse offer her a small, give her a few smaller feeds to get her strength back and then feed her as u would normally!
