I'm really interested in going to this...
I've never been to a reptile event before, so I don't really know the code!
If you buy a reptile, do you need any paperwork to bring it back into the UK (assuming it's not CITES or DWA)?
Or is it unrestricted as it's moving within the EU?

techincally it's un-restricted as it is within the EU, it should be treated the same as moving reptiles from Cornwall to London. However, it is worth making sure you obtain all the correct CITES info from the seller (which they all have) when you buy. This will save any potential hold ups at customs. _________________

Cheers for the info
Is it only that simple if you drive/ferry it across? As the OH doesn't seem too keen on driving...he's more into the idea of flying across, but I assume it would be a lot more difficult to transport animals back via. plane? Of course it's entirely theoretical, I seriously doubt that we'd come back with anything, but are there more procedures to go through if you're transporting things back by plane?
And is there even an airport in or near Hamm?
Thanks |
