Just a few observations so far.
Feeding, they are not keen on the dog biscuit diet but love insects, seeds and veg (ate a whole bannana last night). Also, they stuff their cheeks just like hamsters (hence the name 'pouch rat') and look really freaky when they only fill one side.
They are very sleepy, takes a lot to wake them during the day and then they go back to sleep quickly.
Toilet training? they only use one corner of the cage, the rest of the cage remains spotless. _________________

Like common rats maybe they're more crepuscular/nocturnal? That'd fit in perfect for you waking up after your siesta Scott _________________ Regards James Stroud
