Another fantastic show, seemed far busier than last March show, spent a few hours going round before the public came in and even then it was busy....but once the public entered you had to fight your whole way round.

Some fantastic animals on offer, breeders and dealers from Sweden, Germany, Canada, USA, Denmark, Czech, France, UK, Holland and probably many other places.

Day started cold but sunny and ended even colder with snow!

Another 800 mile journey that was well worth it....

Anyone else on here go? you enjoy it Mark?(hope you plastered Jim's stuff with those flyers!...lol)

Yeah it certainly was cold there, but we were just glad to make it into the show this time, we ate at the hotel.
Took ages to get round and see it all and missed out on a couple of buys becuase when we came back to them they had either sold out or packed up early,we both enjoyed it though.
Got searched at customs too on the way back.

I was there - I too was really impressed, I thought there was a tremendous range of stuff there, lots more than last March.

For various reasons I was quite conservative, but still brought a few interesting things back. I had to be restrained from buying some Shinisaurus crocodile lizards though...

Bit of a killer being back at work the next day. Tired, and I want to be at home playing with my new herps lol...

Mark.

Well we got asked to pull over to one of the bays for a search by a customs officer at passport control, they just asked loads of questions about where we stayed and i suppose a bit bemused why we would drive all the way to Germany for three lizards Confused after we showed all our paperwork and reciepts they had a nose round the car and in our cases and a quick look at the lizards, then he put on some rubber gloves Shocked but he assured me it was just his hands were cold Razz and that was it, we was Free.

lol....a lucky escape with the gloves then Wink

They asked us what we had in the back of the van, my 'co-pilot' said "just crap", they still opened the back up but was happy with what they could see (had to wave a bunch of £50's to get through*....lol)

*JOKE....any customs officers reading this...the guys at the port were very professional and done a sterling job at stopping any contraband getting through!
